“The Wayward Wind” knocked Elvis Presley’s “Heartbreak Hotel” out of top spot after 8 weeks. Her voice was also used as actress Ann Blyth’s singing voice in the movie, “The Helen Morgan Story.”
Grant took time off to raise her family, but returned to singing again in 1987, and continued singing well into her 80’s.
