Friday marks the unofficial start to March Break and it’s causing a little bit of March madness at Pearson.

The GTAA says 120,000 people are expected to be using Pearson International Airport today ahead of the week-long vacation for elementary and high school students.

Officials say they are ready – with extra staff on hand and kits for children complete with colouring books and treasure maps.

Several of the restaurants inside the airport terminals have free food for boys and girls under 10.

You are being reminded to check ahead if you’re flying out of Pearson, and get to the airport early.
