Just as she did with the first accuser … Jian Ghomeshi’s lawyer is challenging the memory and conduct of the second woman to take the stand at his sex assault trial.
Actress Lucy DeCoutere was asked by Marie Henein why she never mentioned a kiss goodbye after an alleged attack in 2003.
The defence lawyer said she had detailed memories while speaking with the media after Ghomeshi was fired by the CBC and wondered why DeCoutere did not mention to police that she and Ghomeshi kissed goodbye in his home after the alleged assault.
She’s one of three women behind the five charges Ghomeshi faces – four of sexual assault and one of overcoming resistance by choking.
