Last weekend’s raging blizzard has officially entered the record books as the fourth most powerful snowstorm – in more than 60 years to hit the U-S Northeast.
The U-S National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration ranked the storm on a scale that considers inches of snowfall, geographic reach and the number of people affected.
The agency says the storm had an effect on 102.8 million people.
It covered a vast area of more than one-million square kilometres – over 26 states.
