Ontario taxpayers get a snapshot on how the Liberal government at Queen’s Park has been spending their money.
Auditor General Bonnie Lysyk’s report is set to cover fourteen program areas in which her office conducted audits to see if taxpayers are getting value for their money.
One of the area she’ll focus on is the electricity system and whether Hydro One has adequate systems to maintain transmission and distribution. It’s her last look at the giant transmission utility since the Liberals have begun selling it off and converted it from a Crown Corporation which is beyond the auditor’s purview.
Lysyk has also taken a look at long-term care homes as well as Community Care Access Centres.
