Swedish security officials say they have received a threat of attacks against the prime minister, the government and Parliament.
A spokesman for Sweden’s security service, Frederik Milder, says the threat was made in an email to security officals on Monday afternoon.
And he says “many others” also received similar emails.
He told reporters the email said the threat would be carried out on Tuesday – and he gave no other details.
Swedish Parliament security chief Lennart Gustafsson confirmed that a threat had been received by email – but would give no further details.
Gustafsson said business would be conducted as usual on Tuesday and that normal security measures would be adopted.
