The Ontario government says 45 million dollars worth of agreements were signed today between the province and companies in Hong Kong.
It’s a result of Premier Kathleen Wynne’s trade mission.
Among the agreements is a 30-million-dollar joint venture concerning Toronto-based JET Architecture, Hong Kong architects V-PANG and artist Lisa Cheung – to design a new arts pavilion in West Kowloon.
Wynne also announced plans to open a new International Trade and Investment Office in Hong Kong – to promote Ontario products – and help companies do business in the region.
The premier marked Remembrance Day by attending a wreath-laying ceremony in Hong Kong – at a war cemetery.
