LIST OF REMEMBRANCE DAY CEREMONIES AND WHAT IS OPEN/CLOSED

There are several ceremonies happening around the city this Remembrance Day where you commemorate our lost veterans.
The Sunrise Ceremony will be held at Prospect Cemetery at 1450 St. Clair West starting at 7:30am.
Mayor John Tory and members of city will attend a service at the Old City Hall Cenotaph at 10:45am.
Also, at 10:45am, the Queens Park Ceremony of Remembrance will take place on the front lawn of the park.
In addition, Sunny Brook Health Sciences Centre will honour our veterans at Warrior Hall at 10:15am.
And, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery the Royal Canadian Air Force will host a service at 10:40am at the steps of the cemetery’s mausoleum.

Also, here is what you need to know about what is opened and what is not this Remembrance Day.
Most businesses will be open, including retailers and grocery stores.  Toronto Libraries will operate on holiday hours, and the LCBO will open at 12pm.
Governement offices and banks are be closed, as are most of City of Toronto offices. There will be no mail delivery today.
On the public transportation front, TTC service will work on a regular weekday schedule, but all TTC vehicles will pause at 11am to observe a moment of silence.
Go Transit will run on regular scheduled hours.
Veterans, their family members, and family members of deceased veterans will  be able to ride the GO and TTC for free with valid ID.
