Pop superstar Celine Dion plans to make a long-awaited return to Montreal and Quebec City next summer.

Dion is scheduled to play four dates in Montreal, starting July 31st, then plans on two performances in Quebec City on August 20th and 21st.

Promoters say it will be her first performances at the Bell Centre in Montreal in seven years.

In August, 47 year old Dion returned to perform in Las Vegas for the first time since taking a year off to care for her ailing husband, Rene Angelil who has cancer.

Tickets go on sale this Friday.
