Canada’s legendary author Margaret Atwood is the headliner at this weekend’s Boston Book Festival.
Atwood joins other writers like Claire Messud, Colum McCann and Bill Clegg, but it is clear Atwood is the star. Tickets for her Friday night, festival-kick off, keynote speech are sold out. Unclaimed tickets will be made available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the door.
The 75-year old writer is featured as the author of dozens of published works, most of them either prize winning or prize nominated. Atwood is the first contributor to the “Future Library Project” in Norway and will discuss that and her newest book “The Heart Goes Last.”
