Those who care for an elderly or sick family member or friend might empathize with the findings of a just released report on stress.

One in three (33%) people, who care for loved ones at home, reported feeling distress, anger or depression in 2013-14.
Health Quality Ontario says that’s more than doubled in the past four years.
The government advisory group says nearly all home care patients rely on someone for everything from shopping and transportation to managing medications and helping with personal care.
But one third of those caregivers say they’re too stressed out to do it any longer.
The group’s annual report also found patients in hospitals are waiting an average of 69 days to get into long-term care homes, an increase of almost three weeks from four years earlier.
Those at home, who require a long-term care bed, have seen the average wait reduced by 74 days, however they’re still waiting about 116 days or just under four months.
