The trial of the police constable charged in connection with the 2013 shooting death of a teen aboard an empty streetcar will not start now until next week.
Opening statement are not expected next Tuesday or Wednesday.
The postponement in Constable James Forcillo’s case comes because both his lawyers and Crown prosecutors must make legal arguments to the judge, without the jury present.
