Great news for fans of Shakespeare on the big screen.
The Stratford Festival will be creating high-definition films of each of this season’s Shakespeare productions – for international release.
Hamlet, The Taming of the Shrew, The Adventures of Pericles and Love’s Labour’s Lost will be filmed live in H-D: with additional behind-the-scenes features included in each release.
It’s all part of the Stratford Festival HD Series – a huge initiative to capture all of the Bard’s plays over the next ten years – and bring them to audiences around the world.
The project launched this February with King Lear, King John and Anthony and Cleopatra.
The Stratford Festival’s 2015 season is on until November 1st.
