Hollywood star Hugh Jackman has announced plans for a concert tour of his native Australia based on his successful one-man show on Broadway.
The 46 year old actor told reporters in Sydney this morning the tour will kick off in November.
The “Broadway to Oz” show will mix songs with Jackman’s own storytelling. He’ll perform with choirs, dancers and musicians, singing songs from shows he was part of or wanted to be.
Jackman, who is probably best-known as Wolverine in the “X-Men” films, won a Tony Award as lead actor in the musical “The Boy From Oz,” based on the life of Australian singer-songwriter Peter Allen.
