Stephen Harper came to the west Toronto riding of Etobicoke-Centre Tuesday to announce a re-elected Conservative government would re-introduce the party’s ”Life Means Life” legislation.
The bill, that proposed amending the Criminal Code to imprison those convicted of especially heinous crimes for their entire lives, was not passed into law before Parliament was dissolved for the election.
When reporters put questions to the prime minister about recent developments at the trial of Senator Mike Duffy, some party supporters had obviously had enough.
One man in particular got into a loud confrontation with reporters, using profane language.

The unidentified man called one journalist a ”lying piece of – – – -.”
Asked for his name, he told reporters to ”go stuff yourself.”
He was escorted out.
Conservative party spokesman Kory Teneycke later apologized, saying the man’s behaviour was unacceptable.
