Since an initial appeal for video and pictures from all the people who attended a large, popular after party at an Exhibition Place club last week has yielded few tips, the police chief wants patrons to do some soul searching.
Chief Mark Saunders says he knows the deadly Muzik nightclub shooting is solvable, ”when you have this many thousands of people in the club. And I know that Torontonians are good people, that’s why it’s such a safe city. And I know that someone out there is just sitting on that fence, deciding whether or not they should help the police or not. And I’m encouraging that one witness could be the pivotal point of this entire investigation.”
The police chief says coming forward and talking to investigators will deter those who think they can get away with carrying weapons.
Two people were killed and three were wounded last Tuesday.
