An anthology of writings by Peggy Noonan, the Wall Street Journal columnist and former White House speech writer, is to be released in November.
“The Time of Our Lives” highlight’s Noonan’s work from the past 35 years.
She say the book includes the work that “stays with her” and has the same effect as “when she was writing it.”
Noonan is known for such memorable speeches as President Ronald Reagan’s address after the Challenger explosion – and for coining the expression “a kinder, gentler nation” for George H.W. Bush’s 1988 presidential run.
