What happens when fourteen multi-talented singers come together?  You get Toronto’s hottest a cappella group called Countermeasure.  Here how they sounded during a visit this morning to Zoomer Radio’s Happy Gang show at the ZoomerPlex:

There are no musical instruments. All the sounds are made by human voices.

They’re led by award winning composer and arranger Aaron Jenson and perform music that covers a broad range of pop and jazz sung in unique arrangements.

“We brought together people from a variety of different musical backgrounds and musical experiences, a lot of whom had sung when they were a little younger, or had done it in college or university, and had graduated, found their lives, found their jobs, but we brought back together all these incredible musical talents,” performer J-M Erlendson explained.

Countermeasure performs at Jazz On The Mountain At Blue in Collingwood on July 3rd and in Port Dover on August 15th.
