You can park the parka and ditch the mittens today.
The long-hoped-for milder temperatures have arrived in Toronto.
After the deep freeze of the past few months – we’re expecting a high of 7 degrees today and even warmer for mid-week.
The spring-like conditions are going to stay around too – with Environment Canada calling for sunshine and 9 degrees tomorrow and 8 on Wednesday.
The weather office says we’ll dip to 2 on Thursday – but be back around 7 degrees on Friday – which is still nicely above normal for this time of year.
The pleasant weather comes on the heels of a bitter winter – which saw the coldest February in history – here in the city of Toronto and in southern Ontario.
