Ontario’s Health Minister is considering expanding the vaccines you can get at your neighbourhood pharmacy.
Last year some 750,000 Ontarians got their flu shot from a pharmacist. A spokesman for the Ontario Pharmacists Association says the program could be expanded to include shingles vaccines and travel related vaccines. If Ontario approves the expansion, it will join provinces like Alberta which already allow pharmacists to provide a wider list of vaccines.
