A new book by Ayaan Hirsi Ali is coming out sooner than expected.
The book release by the women’s rights advocate – and leading critic of Islam – has been moved up from late April to March 24th.
Hirsi Ali’s “Heretic: Why Islam Needs a Reformation Now” includes her thoughts on the January shootings in Paris at the offices of the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo. Her editor, Adam Bellow at HarperCollins says Hirsi Ali’s “timely and important” message should be heard as soon as possible.
Born in Somalia – the author is a Muslim atheist who emigrated to the U.S. in 2006 – after death threats in the Netherlands, where she had been a member of parliament and a target for terrorists.
Hirsi Ali’s previous books include the bestselling memoir “Infidel.”
