Travellers taking flight out of Pearson International are getting a special parting gift: ebooks and music available for free download.

Starting next week “Entertainment on Cloud 10” offers travellers a chance to visit a website – to download select ebook titles and tunes.

HarperCollins Canada and Sony Music are collaborating in an ongoing partnership between The Greater Toronto Airports Authority – which manages Pearson – and American Express Canada.

People must be connected to airport wifi – or use their own data plans – to access the online gifts – which are theirs to keep.

Six ebooks will be available each month.

The first run includes Giller Prize finalist “The Betrayrers” by David Bezmozgis – and “Us” by “One Day” author David Nicholls.
