Premier Kathleen Wynne said she would not attend any of comedian Bill Cosby’s shows in Ontario because of the “very serious” allegations of sexual assault the comedian is facing. For once the Liberal premier is being supported by a Conservative. Kitchener Conestoga MPP Michael Harris says he won`t attend either. Instead, he`ll be taking in an alternative event in support of an end to violence against women. The embattled comedian is worried about protesters disrupting the three shows he has scheduled in Ontario this week as his international tour rolls on . Cosby has issued a statement urging people who do attend his performances to remain calm if a show is interrupted and to not confront the person making the disruption. The 77-year-old comedian is set to perform in Kitchener Wednesday night, London Thursday night and Hamilton on Friday.
