We won’t have to wait long for the first storm of 2015.
It’s going to hit us tomorrow.
Environment Canada says a weather system will come up from the southwest and pass through southern and central Ontario during the weekend. It will begin as snow and then change over to rain as temperatures climb above freezing. And there is the possibility for freezing rain during the transition.
The weather office says it’s also going to be very mild on Sunday. Some areas could hit double digits. But the temperature will plunge back below freezing on Monday.
Forecasters say it’s still too early to tell how much snow or rain will fall. We should have a better idea as the day progresses.
