An American TV network’s started working on a pilot for a sitcom based on former Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield’s book, ”An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth.”
That’s also the comedy’s working title.
The 55-year old Hadfield says the pilot’s expected to be broadcast next fall.
According to him, it’ll integrate the complexity of work as an astronaut with the demands of returning to family life.
Hadfield has no idea who would play him in the TV show, but says he’s working with writers to ensure they have enough material.
He’s in Toronto for the official launch of his second book, ”You Are Here: Around The World in 92 minutes.”
It’s a compilation of nearly 200 photos Hadfield snapped during his five-month mission aboard the International Space Station that ended in May 2013.
