There’s a big inconvenience for Toronto drivers this weekend.  The entire Gardiner Expressway is scheduled to close for maintenance.  It means all lanes of the Gardiner will be closed in both directions between Carlaw Avenue and Highway 427 starting Friday night at 11 o’clock until Monday morning at 5.

Motorists are advised to use Lake Shore Boulevard, the Queensway, Richmond Street, King Street, Queen Street, and Evans Avenue as alternative routes during the weekend closure.
