Some very welcome news from a U.N. panel of scientists.

They say our planet’s protective ozone layer is starting to recover – and the main reason is the post-1980s phase-out of certain chemicals – used in refrigerants and aerosol cans.

The ozone layer shields life from the sun’s cancer-causing ultraviolet rays.

Experts are calling the report- rare environmental good news.

They say it shows that – when people of the world come together, we can counteract a brewing ecological crisis.
