There is a potential major development out of Ukraine.
President Petro Poroshenko posted a message on his twitter account that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin have agreed on a ceasefire in Eastern Ukraine.
The statement gives no details. And there is no response from the Russian-backed separatists in Eastern Ukraine.
The Kremlin is denying it has agreed to a ceasefire, but that could be part of its continuing refusal to admit it is involved in the conflict.
And US President Barack Obama says it’s too early to tell if the ceasefire news is legitimate.
Obama will join Prime Minister Harper and other NATO leaders at a summit in Wales tomorrow where Ukraine is expected to be the major topic.
