The three day ceasefire came to a violent end in the Middle East this morning as Israel came under fire once again.

The Israeli military says it came under attack by rocket fire from Gaza within minutes of the end of a three-day ceasefire.

There are reports that at least 20 rockets have been fired at Israel so far. Israel has responded by hammering Hamas targets in Gaza.

In a related development, the Israeli delegation has left Cairo where talks have been going on to find a more lasting truce. Israeli officials says they will not negotiate while their country is under attack.

The latest conflict began more than a month ago after Hamas began launching rockets into southern Israel.
