BREAKTHROUGH REPORTED IN MALAYSIAN JET CRASH INVESTIGATION

The Prime Minister of Malaysian says the leader of the pro-Russian rebels in Ukraine has agreed to hand over both black boxes from Flight 17 to Malaysian investigators. In addition, he says the remains of 282 of the crash victims are to be handed over to Dutch authorities and then flown to Amsterdam. Najib Razak says as part of an agreement he reached with rebel leader Alexander Borodai Monday, independent international investigators will be given safe access to the crash site. The United States is blasting Moscow for its support of separatist Ukrainian rebels, while welcoming Russia’s support of a U.N. resolution calling for an investigation of the crash site. Canada has announced more sanctions against people and entities over Russia`s continuing military actions against Ukraine. This is in addition to the sanctions already impose against 110 individuals and entities considered to be responsible for violating Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence.
