Frank Sinatra’s first New Jersey driver’s licence sold for close to $16,000 at auction.

No word who bought it.

The yellowed 1934 licence, with no picture, was issued – typing error and all – to Francis Sintra, Garden Street, Hoboken, New Jersey.

It was signed by the then-19-year old, the year before he got his first big break in music.

His weight was listed as 130 pounds and, yes, his eyes were recorded as blue.
