The three men, arrested in last summer’s deadly rail disaster, are free on bail after being arraigned on charges of criminal negligence causing death.

Thomas Harding, Jean Demaitre and Richard Labrie had to each post $15,000 after appearing in a makeshift courtroom in Lac-Megantic, Quebec this afternoon.

A runaway train, carrying crude oil, derailed and exploded last July 6, killing 47.

The now insolvent Montreal Maine and Atlantic Railway faces the same charges.
