The National Basketball Association has come down hard on on Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling in response to racist comments the league says he made in a recorded conversation. Sterling is banned for life by the NBA and fined $2.5 million. NBA commissioner Adam Silver also says he will try to force a sale of the Clippers. Silver calls Sterling’s comments deeply offensive and harmful.
