Getting around the downtown core of Toronto will be more challenging this weekend with the closure of the Yonge subway line from Bloor to St. Andrews. Included in that shutdown; subway access at Union Station. People heading to the Blue Jays game on the subway Saturday and Sunday are encouraged to take the University Line, south from St. George to St. Andrew. The TTC will operate 47 buses along Yonge Street between Rosedale and King stations and then over to St. Andrew station (at King and University). Wheel-Trans buses will be available to accommodate seniors and people with disabilities. The subway closure is to accommodate signal upgrades.
