Former premier, Dalton McGuinty’s previous chief of staff, David Livingston, is accused of giving a third party access to computers in the premier’s office, which resulted in sensitive information about the cancellation of gas plants being removed from hard drives. The allegations are contained in an ‘information to obtain’ document. The document was filed in court by the OPP, to request a search warrant for a storage facility in Mississauga. That’s where the Ontario government hard drives were being stored. After being asked about the breach of trust allegations against Livingston, Premier Kathleen Wynne said she will co-operate with any investigation. None of the allegations have been proven in court.
