There’s word from Russia that two members of the punk band Pussy Riot are back in custody.

Maria Alekhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova were in Sochi where they were planning on performing a protest song against the regime of President Vladimir Putin.

But they say they weren’t engaged in any sort of protest when they were picked up. They were among a group of dissidents and independent journalists sitting in a Mcdonalds when about 50 plainclothes officers swept in and arrested them all.

Alekhina and Tolokonnikova spent nearly two years in prison but were released in December. They were convicted of hooliganism after staging a protest in Moscow’s most prominent cathedral in opposition to President Vladimir Putin’s government.

They recently visited the U.S. to take part in an Amnesty International concert.
