It turns out author Ernest Hemingway was quite a pack rat.

And thousands of items from his home in Cuba can now be seen by researchers at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston.

2,500 digitally scanned documents from the Nobel prize winner’s former Cuban estate have been assembled.

Hemingway lived there for 21 years and it’s where he wrote many of his works -including “For Whom the Bell Tolls.”

The items include the insurance for a 1941 Plymouth Station Wagon, bull fighting tickets and a recipe from his fourth wife for “papa’s favorite hamburger.”

The Kennedy Library has the world’s largest collection of Hemingway artifacts.
