Speaking on AM740’s Goldhawk Fights Back, Professor Prince said nutrition plays a role at the very beginning of life.
Research found that half of care homes residents were not eating enough food, while almost as many had low fluid intake. Prince says Family and professional care givers should be trained and supported to meet the challenges of maintaining adequate nutrition for people with dementia.
