SNOWBOARD COURSE AT SOCHI ALTERED AFTER ACCIDENT

In Sochi, officials made changes today to the Snowboard course after a Norwegian snowboarder was seriously injured in a crash. Torstein Horgmo, crashed on the rail portion of the course which features a long downhill section of obstacles followed by a series of large jumps. A team official said Horgmo landed on his face and shoulder and was taken to a hospital for examination. Sebastien Toutant of Canada said, the big jump was like leaping from a building and quote: I should put on my Canadian flying squirrel suit.
