Light snow, gusting winds, and bitter temperatures are making for another difficult morning commute.

We have several school bus cancellations to report this morning. Buses in Caledon won’t be running today. They’re also cancelled in Simcoe County, Durham Region north of Highway 7, and Halton region north of Highway 407 and Dundas Street. To the east, all buses served by the STSCO, including Cobourg, Peterborough, the Kawarthas, and Clarington, have been cancelled.

The only area where schools are cancelled this morning is Hamilton-Wentworth.

Air Canada and Porter Airlines are both warning of delays and cancellations because of bad weather here and south of the border. GO Transit says its buses are running up to 30 minutes late because of the road conditions.

And Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for areas surrounding the City of Toronto. It says strong winds will cause blowing snow and reduce visibility.

Wherever you have to drive today, police are warning to take it slowly.
