Another blast of snow and high winds today is likely to add to what’s already been a weekend of white knuckle driving on Ontario’s highways and roads.
More than 60 road and highway closures have been ordered across the province.
In some places snowplows have even been pulled off the roads due to blinding whiteouts.
The OPP say that since Friday evening they’ve responded to more than 1,600 crashes.
Eight police cruisers have also been struck by motorists resulting in minor injuries to two officers.
