Memorials were held in London and Scotland to mark the deadliest terror attack in British history – the 1988 bombing of Pan Am 103.

Scottish leader Alex Salmond took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at a cemetery in Lockerbie, where the airline blew up shortly after takeoff, killing 270.

Other senior Scottish officials attended a service at Westminster Abbey.

Meanwhile, in the U-S, where most of the victims were from, a ceremony was held at Virginia’s Arlington National Cemetery.
