A work from the daughter of the legendary Charlie Chaplin is among those in Canadian Stage’s new season.

The 2014/2015 lineup includes a trip into the world of the circus with “Le Cirque Invisible,” created and performed by Victoria Chaplin and Jean-Baptiste Thierree. It’s set to run at the Bluma Appel Theatre next November.

And “What Makes a Man,” created by Justin Ellington and renowned director Jennifer Tarver, explores the life of French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour. It’s due to run in October at the Berkeley Street Theatre.

The season launches October 1st with “Kiss & Cry,” a dance production from Belgium created by choreographer Michele Anne De Mey and acclaimed filmmaker Jaco Van Dormael. It features one male and one female hand captured live on camera as they portray a pair of lovers dancing around a set of miniature landscapes.

Other shows in the new Canadian Stage season include the Broadway drama “The Other Place,” by Sharr White with direction from Siminovitch Award winner Daniel Brooks.
