There’s enough excitement when the Leafs and Canadiens play.
The just announced TV broadcast rights deal makes it more interesting.
Some are wondering if this could spell the end of ”Coach’s Corner” on ”Hockey Night in Canada”.
As a result, a larger than usual audience may tune in during tonight’s Toronto-Montreal game to catch the intermission segment when the 79-year old Don Cherry is expected to address his future.
He’s been part of the CBC broadcasts since 1981, starting ”Coach’s Corner” soon after his arrival.
