A judge has ordered the release of remaining portions of a court document that showed former staffers alleged that Toronto Mayor, Rob Ford was intoxicated at work, drank while driving and associated with suspected prostitutes. The document, containing allegations not proven in court, was filed in the drug case of Ford’s friend Alexander Lisi and media lawyers have been fighting to have it released. Today a judge ordered that all remaining portions of the document, should be released because they are in the public interest. But the release of the document is on hold until December 6th to give the Crown the opportunity to appeal. Ford has denied consorting with prostitutes and insists he is not an alcoholic or drug addict. He has admitted to smoking crack cocain in a drunken stupor.
