The author of the Chronicles of Narnia will become part of Poet’s Corner in Westminster Abbey.
C.S. Lewis will receive a memorial stone in the abbey alongside such literary greats as Dickens, Chaucer, Keats, and the Bronte Sisters.
The Chronicles of Narnia have sold more than 100-million copies worldwide, and have been adapted for film and stage.
Lewis was also a respected Oxford scholar and literary critic.
Clive Staples Lewis died 50 years ago today, the same day as John F. Kennedy was assassinated. He was 64.
