A Toronto anesthesiologist accused of molesting 21 female patients during surgery – has been found guilty on all counts.
And the convicting judge says Dr. George Doodnaught knew that – since he had control over their level of anesthesia – he also knew his victims couldn’t resist.
The defence suggested that the patients under sedation could have hallucinated the sexual assaults, but the judge found such hallucinations were “virtually unheard of.”
Doodnaught is free on bail until he is sentenced and his lawyer Brian Greenspan, says an appeal is possible.
The sentencing date will be determined December 13th.
