A trailblazer in the culinary world for the past 30 years is leaving it’s famous downtown location at the corner of Yonge Street and Yorkville to make room for a condominium development.

Cookbook Store manager Alison Fryer says the store will build on past successes in a new environment as soon as it can.

Since its 1983 opening The Cookbook Store has hosted some of the world’s brightest culinary stars including Julia Child and Anthony Bordain.
