An idea to expand the Canada Pension Plan is gaining momentum and it’s Ontario Premier who is pushing for change. Kathleen Wynne will reportedly make her case to Alberta Premier Alison Redford today in Calgary.  Redford’s Alberta opposed a previous attempt to increase CPP benefits on the grounds that the tax hike to fund them would hurt businesses.  The push by Premier Wynne comes amid increasing concern many Canadians will be left without enough funds to live comfortably when they retire.   Wynne agrees, saying “people are not saving enough and there’s not enough being put aside for retirement.”
