The Prime Minister is being accused of using his position to have her expelled from the Senate.

Senator Pamela Wallin made the claim today in the senate in response to allegations of gross misconduct in using her office budget.

Wallin has paid almost 150-thousand dollars in travel expense claims the Senate has ruled invalid.

She says the government has spread lies about her and ruined her reputation.

Earlier in the day in Question Period, Prime Minister Stephen Harper firmly denied that he played any role in the Senator Mike Duffy’s repayment of ineligible expenses he claimed for living expenses.

Duffy, Wallin and Liberal Senator, Mac Harb all face suspension from the Senate without pay or health benefits.
